Biography
Main Page
The Aharit Hayamim Band began four years ago. The band is known from their wild street performances where they make Jerusalem's streets rock. Their music is an eclectic mixture of Regae Rock, Funk, Ethnic, Klezmer which creates an exciting music performance.
Aharit Hayamim performed in big festivals such as Bombamela, the Reagai festival in Tzeelim, and many more, and with artists such as Matithyahu.
The bands members originally come from all over the world and therefore play a wide variety of instruments (shofar, Irish flute, TAR and African percussion instruments). Each member brings his unique color to the band.
In their performances, like in their first album Aharit Hayamim which will be sold by the music label Hed Artzi, its difficult to decided whats stronger the musical combination or the human harmony.
This ensemble has an interesting family connection: the guitarist is the son of the drummer, and also is married to the sister of the bass player.

Aharit Hayamim: Israels #1 Festival Band will rock Jewlicious
Written by Rabbi Yonah
Aharit HaYamim is Israels #1 Festival Band. Aharits Israeli reggae, dub and ska groove and sensibility is rooted in a longing for peace and love of Zion they share with their Rastafarian brethren. Aharit proclaim their love for Yerushalayim and Holy Mount Zion with tight four-part harmonies, layered over thumping bass lines, lush arrangements and extended play instrumentals. They embody the Grateful Dead and Bob Marley rolled into one.

(IsraelNN.com) You are the new Israel! I have never seen anything like this, the Tel Aviv DJ tells the crowd on the wooded Gush Etzion hilltop. Festival-goers, a fusion of biblically garbed hilltop youth, Jerusalem hipsters and post-India searchers, scream back: Thank you! We love you too!

Some Israeli bands can jam when they want to especially those steeped in the growing party music scene but most arent known for their meandering, free-form improvisations
